MedStick: Never Miss a Dose Again! Hand holding pill holder.
Opportunity: Pill case options on the market tend to be large or bulky, have a medical appearance, and are intended for organizing large dosages. Goal is to design a small, discreet, and portable pill case with enough storage for a seven day morning/evening supply.
Inspiration: Silicone phone cases. A silicone purse. Lip balm with soft touch finish. And colors, purple, lime, and yellow.
Example Customer: Lily is a trans woman with schizophrenia who frequently misses doses for her treatments due to forgetfulness and tiredness. Alarms do not help so she is looking for a container to always have her pills on her to take them wherever on time.
Ideation sketches. Pill holder is a rectangle that feels comfortably in someone’s hand. The back side has fillets with the front side fillets being smaller. Three parts, a container, a tray, and a dividing insert.
Guide on how to use. First you open MedStick and insert the divider if needed. Then grab your medication and put it into MedStick, then close and take it with you everywhere.
